Abdoulaye Doucoure scores the fourth-fastest goal

Abdoulaye Doucoure scores 10 seconds after kickoff, breaking Premier League records.

As Everton thrashed Leicester City 4-0, Abdoulaye Doucoure made history by scoring the fourth-fastest goal in Premier League history. Doucoure scored the goal barely 10.18 seconds after kickoff. Jordan Pickford, the goalkeeper, returned possession of the ball after the kickoff and sent it into Doucoure's path with a long clearance toward the Leicester area. After charging into the area, the midfielder slotted home. It was the fastest goal ever scored by a home player and the earliest Everton have ever scored in the Premier League.

Beto, a forward replacing the injured Dominic Calvert-Lewin, scored twice in the first half, and Iliman Ndiaye added a late goal to give newly appointed Everton manager David Moyes, who is having a great start to his second stint in command, a third consecutive victory.
