The Briton took part in a Pirelli tyre test for 2026 alongside Charles Leclerc, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri
Lewis Hamilton has been actively preparing for his debut season with Scuderia Ferrari, participating in multiple testing sessions to acclimate to his new team and machinery. In a recent Pirelli tyre test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Hamilton drove a modified version of Ferrari's SF-24 car, adapted to accommodate the narrower 2026-spec tyres. Over two days of testing, Hamilton completed a total of 161 laps.
On the first day, he recorded a fastest lap time of 1:15.93 over 87 laps, narrowly edging out his teammate Charles Leclerc, who posted a 1:16.06 over 86 laps. However, both Ferrari drivers were outpaced by McLaren's Lando Norris, who set the fastest lap of the day at 1:15.21, completing 159 laps. The following day, Leclerc improved his performance, topping the timesheet with a 1:14.971 after 74 laps.
