Lando Norris has promised McLaren won't start slowly in the upcoming F1 season
Lando Norris has vowed that McLaren will avoid a slow start to the upcoming Formula 1 campaign to ensure that the team is not on the back foot in the title race like in 2024.
Norris enters this season with the goal of winning his first Drivers' championship after helping McLaren win the Constructors' Championship the previous season. Due to Red Bull's abrupt downfall and McLaren's mid-season surge, the Briton had a chance in 2024 to challenge Max Verstappen's points lead.
But with two races remaining, Verstappen sealed the victory, forcing Norris and McLaren to regret a number of errors that led to Verstappen going ten races without a victory. Norris concluded the season adamant that he has what it takes to continue and win the biggest prize, even if he admitted that he wasn't skilled enough to defeat the Dutchman. Norris has stated that he is entering his sixth season in Formula One in a better frame of mind after eradicating his inner reservations about his suitability at the sharp end.
