Damon Hill announced the end of his 13-year tenure with Sky Sports F1

Former F1 champion Damon Hill has bid farewell to Sky Sports F1 after an impressive 13-year career as a pundit.

1996 Formula 1 world champion Damon Hill announced the end of his 13-year tenure with Sky Sports F1. On his X account, Hill wrote, “It’s been a fantastic 13 years with @SkySportsF1, but all good things come to an end. I will miss the most impressive bunch of professionals it has ever been my pleasure to have worked with. Looking forward to new challenges.”

Known for his sharp insights and unfiltered opinions, Hill has been a staple of Sky’s F1 coverage since 2012. Recently, he criticized Max Verstappen’s driving after the United States and Mexico City Grands Prix. Hill’s racing career (1992–1999) included 22 wins and the 1996 championship, with a dramatic near-miss in 1994 against Michael Schumacher. Sky retains a strong lineup of experts, including Anthony Davidson, Nico Rosberg, Jenson Button, and Karun Chandhok.
