Jimmy Butler's tenure with the Miami Heat seems uncertain, as he reportedly sought a max extension this summer, which the team declined, likely due to his age (now 35) and injury history. Despite being a vital player, Butler's fitness issues—having played more than 70 games in a regular season only twice and missing the Heat's recent playoff series against the Celtics—raise concerns about a long-term commitment. However, teams like the San Antonio Spurs may still find Butler's skills valuable. 

Andy Bailey of Bleacher Report proposed a trade where the Spurs receive Butler in exchange for Keldon Johnson, Jeremy Sochan, Zach Collins, and two future first-round picks. This deal would provide Miami with two young talents, balancing the Heat’s future while giving the Spurs a veteran leader.
