Two added time goals from Tijjani Reijnders and Samuel Chukwueze earned AC Milan an unlikely 3-2 win at home to struggling Parma in a dramatic game at the San Siro on Sunday.
In a thrilling match at the San Siro on Sunday, AC Milan defeated struggling Parma 3-2 at home thanks to two goals from Tijjani Reijnders and Samuel Chukwueze in extra time. With the victory, Milan climbs to sixth place in the rankings with 34 points, while Parma, in 17th place with 20 points, is barely above the relegation zone. Matteo Cancellieri gave Parma the lead in the twenty-fourth minute, while Christian Pulisic gave Milan the equaliser seven minutes before halftime.
With ten minutes left, Enrico Del Prato gave Parma the lead again, but late goals from Reijnders and Chukwueze gave the home team the three points. Parma made the breakthrough with the first serious chance after the game had started slowly. Cancellieri gained control when Emanuele Valeri delivered a ball across the pitch from the left, cut inside and then curled a shot low into the far corner from beyond the area after Theo Hernandez slipped.
