Nottingham Forest have turned down an offer for forward Ramón Sosa
Nottingham Forest have turned down an offer from Palmeiras for forward Ramón Sosa, despite the player growing impatient with a lack of minutes.
Even though striker Ramón Sosa was getting frustrated with his lack of playing time, Nottingham Forest rejected Palmeiras' offer. Journalist Christian Martin says that in an interview with Somos Paraguay, who has disclosed all information on the offer made to Nottingham Forest.
This season, Sosa has played a supporting role for Nottingham Forest under Nuno Espirito Santo, as Callum Hudson-Odoi and Antony Elanga's sustained success keeps him out of the starting lineup as they aim for a top four finish. Despite playing little minutes this season, the Paraguayan has handled this well and is still making an impact. Reports in January did link him with a move away from the club, though, believing his substitute role could push him towards the exit and to seek a move elsewhere.
