Osimhen’s form at Galatasaray
Romelu Lukaku was unanimously rated as one of the worst Napoli players on the pitch in the clash against his former side Inter at San Siro on Sunday
Romelu Lukaku was universally regarded as one of Napoli's worst performers during Sunday's match against his old team, Inter, at San Siro. This led to speculation over whether Antonio Conte's team would have been better served by the in-form Victor Osimhen. Francesco Acerbi neutralised the 31-year-old, and Napoli's lack of danger throughout the game appeared to be solely down to their striker's incapacity to pose a threat to the Nerazzurri defence.
Even though Lukaku has scored four goals in his first ten Serie A games, he continues to appear to be far from his peak, particularly when he is asked to attack in open areas and lacks the speed that was once one of his most defining and dangerous traits during his Inter seasons. However, Osimhen, a loanee from Napoli, is dominating the Turkish league after scoring two goals in the Europa League.
