Ferrari has announced that Loic Serra, a former employee of Mercedes, will take over as Technical Director. Since Frederic Vasseur, a Frenchman, took over at Ferrari at the beginning of 2023, he has since implemented a number of significant changes to the team's technical division.

Enrico Cardile, the Technical Director of Chassis and Aerodynamics, announced his resignation from the Prancing Horses last month, following more than 20 years of service. Cardile is set to join Aston Martin’s leadership team. The team today confirms that Loic Serra will be taking over as Technical Director Chassis. Serra will start working with Ferrari on October 1st. Serra is going to be doing a wide range of tasks in his new position. Serra has a distinguished background in racing, having worked for more than ten years with Mercedes and the BMW Sauber F1 team.
