Juventus' 1-0 victory against Inter
Inter missed the chance to move to the Serie A summit after falling to Francisco Conceicao's 74th-minute winner in Turin.
Francisco Conceicao scored the game-winning goal late in Juventus' 1-0 victory against Inter in Turin on Sunday, denying Inter the opportunity to take the lead in Serie A.
After joining forces with Randal Kolo Muani, whose deft movement enabled Conceicao to score the game-winning goal in the 74th minute, the Portugal winger caused a commotion inside the Allianz Stadium. With 54 points, eight more than fourth-place Juventus, Simone Inzaghi's team is two points behind the leaders after failing to take advantage of Napoli's 2-2 draw against Lazio on Saturday. After Michele Di Gregorio stopped Mehdi Taremi's bicycle kick, Inter immediately found their rhythm. Denzel Dumfries then smashed the crossbar. Nico Gonzalez made a brilliant double stop for Juventus in response, first stopping a long-range attempt and then denying Conceicao the rebound.
