Bologna a second consecutive victory to climb the standings

Riccardo Orsolini bagged a brace to overturn the Roberto Piccoli opener and give Bologna a second consecutive victory to climb the standings.

Bologna gained a second straight victory to move up the standings as Riccardo Orsolini scored two goals to defeat Roberto Piccoli's opening.

In Thursday's postponed match, the Rossoblu rallied to defeat Milan 2-1, moving up to sixth position and earning a spot in the Coppa Italia semifinals. Vincenzo Italiano rotated the team, although Emil Holm and Estanis Pedrola remained out. Giuseppe Ciocci was the lone player the Sardinians lost, and Zito Luvumbo returned to the starting lineup following a protracted injury layoff. Santiago Castro and Benjamin Dominguez narrowly missed getting on the end of a ball to the back post, while Davide Calabria missed a shot from the area's boundary. As Roberto Piccoli began the play just inside his own half, rushed forward, spread it to the left, and was prepared to nod in the six-yard Tommaso Augello cross, Cagliari broke the impasse instead.
