Bees win against relegation-threatened Leicester in the Premier League
At the King Power Stadium, Brentford dealt struggling Leicester City a devastating 4-0 loss, bringing the Foxes one fearful step closer to the Championship.
After defeating the Foxes 4-1 at home in November, the Bees scored three goals in 15 minutes of the first half and then went on to score four goals for the second time this season. It was Ruud Van Nistelrooy's tenth Premier League loss during his brief tenure as Leicester's manager.
The home squad had a stronger start than the other teams, but they collapsed in the first fifteen minutes. Before the half, local supporters were lining up to leave after goals from Christian Norgaard, Bryan Mbeumo, and Yoane Wissa. Mikkel Damsgaard gave Brentford more chances to extend their advantage, but Fabio Carvalho's second goal of the season gave Thomas Frank's team a fourth goal to secure their fourth straight victory away from home and take them into the top half of the standings.
