Napoli's dramatic 2-1 loss to Como

Napoli remains second with 56 points from 26 matches, a point behind reigning champions Inter Milan. Promoted Como is 13th on 28 points.

The title-chasing visitors' losing skid now stands at four games after Napoli's dramatic 2-1 loss to Como at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia on Sunday cost them the opportunity to reclaim the top spot in Serie A. With 56 points from 26 games, Napoli is still one point behind defending champions Inter Milan and suffered its first loss in 11 Serie A games. With 28 points, promoted Como sits in 13th place.

To the dismay of manager Antonio Conte, Napoli's nightmare began when Kosovan centre-back Amir Rrahmani gave Como the lead in the seventh minute by putting Matteo Politano's throw-in into his own net with goalkeeper Alex Meret far off his line. The score was tied for Napoli ten minutes later when striker Giacomo Raspadori took advantage of some careless defence to slide the ball past Como goalie Jean Butez.
