Cagliari plunging Parma to a third straight defeat 2-1
Florinel Coman made a spectacular debut with his scorching long-range strike taking Cagliari away from the danger zone, plunging Parma to a third straight defeat.
With his blazing long-range goal that pulled Cagliari out of the danger zone, Florinel Coman had an incredible debut and sent Parma to their third consecutive loss. The Ducali had fallen into the relegation zone, one point below the Sardinians, thus this was a straight-up scrap at the bottom. The only other player still out was Giuseppe Ciocci, who came back to take Zito Luvumbo's place on the bench. While Hernani and Dennis Man were recovering from injuries, and Enrico Delprato had returned from suspension, the visitors were without Lautaro Valenti, Gabriel Charpentier, Mateusz Kowalski, Alessandro Circati, and Yordan Osorio.
After making a comeback to the starting lineup, Adrian Bernabé's free kick went narrowly wide before Sebastiano Luperto charged down Drissa Camara's attempt. Yerry Mina's header hammered the base of the far post on the next Cagliari corner after Mattia Felici's solo attempt was fingertipped around the upright.
