Dynamo Kyiv endured their sixth consecutive Europa League defeat, falling 0-3 to Real Sociedad in a one-sided encounter. The match began disastrously for Oleksandr Shovkovskiy's side, as Denys Popov’s foul in the penalty area led to a penalty in the 19th minute. Though goalkeeper Georgiy Bushchan saved Mikel Oyarzabal’s spot-kick, Oyarzabal scored on the rebound to put Sociedad ahead 1-0.

Just five minutes later, Sheraldo Becker’s effort, assisted by Takefuso Kubo, deflected off Mykola Bilovar, doubling Sociedad's lead to 2-0. In the 33rd minute, Oyarzabal struck again, converting a pass from Jon Ander Olasagasti to make it 3-0. Dynamo struggled in the first half, managing just one shot on target compared to Sociedad’s dominant 19 attempts, 11 of which were on goal. Despite improved play in the second half, Dynamo couldn’t reduce the deficit.
