Man United are on the verge of completing a deal worth up to £30million
Manchester United are on the verge of completing a deal worth up to £30million for Lecce defender Patrick Dorgu, who'll become the club's first signing under Ruben Amorim
Diogo Dalot of Manchester United is prepared to compete with Patrick Dorgu, a new £30 million acquisition, for a spot in Ruben Amorim's starting lineup.
The 20-year-old Dorgu is anticipated to pay €30 million (£25.15 million) to join United from Lecce, an Italian team, plus a further €5 million (£4.19 million). After being benched for Friday night's Serie A match between Lecce and Parma, Dorgu's transfer to Old Trafford ought to be completed well in front of Monday's 11 p.m. transfer deadline. Dalot has had to fill the position of left wing-back during Amorim's first two months in command, and the Denmark international will arrive as a specialist in that position. Luke Shaw, the starting left-back, has been out due to injury, and Tyrell Malacia, his backup, has not been able to win over his new manager.
