Martial Godo, a winger for Fulham, has signed a new four-year deal at Craven Cottage, the club announced this afternoon. Godo's career has taken off after he joined the Whites from Margate in March 2022, following an incredible trial at Motspur Park. He was rewarded for his outstanding performance for Fulham's under-21 squad with his first-team debut in the otherwise disappointing League Cup loss against Crawley Town in August.

Last season, while on loan at Wigan Athletic, the left winger showed great potential. In 38 appearances, he scored four goals and assisted four more as Shaun Maloney's team placed twelfth in League One. The player later commented that he hopes to play in the Premier League for the first time this season, as well as a few more, maybe adding a goal or two along the way.
