Europe’s biggest clubs are reportedly planning to sign Cristian Romero

Tottenham could face a significant challenge in 2025 as some of Europe’s biggest clubs, are reportedly planning renewed attempts to sign Cristian Romero.

Some of the top teams in Europe, including Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain, are allegedly intending to make fresh bids to recruit Cristian Romero, which might provide a serious challenge for Tottenham in 2025. Spurs are quite concerned about losing the Argentine center back since he has grown to be an essential member of the team's defense.

Tottenham had to fend off interest from PSG, who were in dire need of defensive reinforcements, during the last summer transfer window. Due to long-term injuries sustained by important players like Presnel Kimpembe and Lucas Hernandez, as well as the departure of Milan Skriniar and the decline in performance of Danilo Pereira under Luis Enrique, PSG focused on Romero. Romero was clearly not for sale, even though Tottenham showed a lot of interest. Manager Ange Postecoglou emphasized the defender's significance to his ambitions.
