Arsenal’s Striker Dilemma: Who Will Lead the Line This Summer?

Over the past several weeks, there has been discussion about Arsenal's transfer business—or lack thereof.

The Gunners' decision to forgo signing a striker in January has come under increased scrutiny in recent days as the Premier League championship appears to be slipping away.

It remains to be seen if Arsenal made the correct decision in not signing a new centre striker. As was the case in the New Year, a number of strikers are already being linked to a move to the Emirates Stadium.  Which players will be on Arsenal's summer transfer shortlist is still up in the air. Alexander Isak of Newcastle United, Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig, Viktor Gyokeres of Sporting Lisbon, and Victor Osimhen of Galatasaray are just a few of the names that have been floated on the Gunners gossip mill in recent months. It is obvious that a striker is needed by Arsenal. Who is the question? They already have Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz, both of whom are skilled at the Premier League level when they are available.
