In previous years, Arsenal has frequently turned to the La Liga market, and it appears that their intentions for 2025 will be no different. They reportedly have Nico Williams and Martin Zubimendi, who is also coveted by Real Madrid, on their shortlist. Joan Garcia is another Spanish talent who is still in demand. Arsenal was highly interested in acquiring Garcia last summer, but they missed out because Espanyol refused to engage in the closing days of the transfer market after they took so long to sell Aaron Ramsdale to Southampton. They were forced to make do with loaning out former Barcelona custodian Neto.

Garcia has since made a name for himself in La Liga as a top performer. Up until now, Espanyol's season has been difficult, but without their 23-year-old goalkeeper, who has made a league-high 82 saves in 22 games, it would have been even worse.
