For over a year, Ferrari enthusiasts have been anticipating the first-ever performance of Lewis Hamilton in one of their Formula 1 vehicles. Lewis Hamilton declared at the start of February 2024 that he would be switching from the Silver Arrows to the Scuderia. Ferrari intends to surpass McLaren in the Constructors' Championship with their new driver combination as they start the 2025 season.

Although Charles Leclerc has established himself as one of the grid's most reliable drivers, Hamilton's presence may encourage him to reach new heights. Next week, Lewis Hamilton will have his first Ferrari simulator session. The SF-25 and Hamilton won't be formally unveiled by Ferrari until February 19, one day following Formula One's formal launch ceremony in London. Hamilton would, however, have completed a substantial amount of work behind closed doors at that point.
