Nottingham Forest is planning to rekindle its interest in Yuri Alberto
Nottingham Forest are said to be plotting to reignite their interest in Corinthians striker Yuri Alberto this summer.
According to reports, Nottingham Forest is planning to rekindle its interest in Yuri Alberto, a striker for Corinthians, this summer. As they were ready for the winter transfer window, the Reds were initially connected to the Brazilian in November of last year. With teams like West Ham United, Everton, Newcastle United, and Brentford interested in him at the time, Alberto was not afraid to talk about his desire to play in the Premier League. According to reports from the player's home country, Forest may make a bid of £19 million. Even though nothing came to pass, the club will consider bolstering up front as a top priority at the end of the season.
According to Italian publication Calciomercato, the Reds are among the sides to have been in touch with Alberto’s agent as they put future plans in place. The Hammers, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Bournemouth and Fulham are said to have done the same.
