Manchester United to sign AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez
Manchester United have reportedly made contact over a deal to sign AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez, as per Spanish outlet Fichajes.
The Red Devils have struggled in the center-forward position, as Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund have only combined for five Premier League goals this season. In addition to that, United also has to address the wing-back position. Diogo Dalot, Noussair Mazraoui, and Luke Shaw all feel better at ease playing fullback. Thus, it has been challenging for Ruben Amorim to apply his football philosophy to Old Trafford.
To strengthen the LWB position, Patrick Dorgu was acquired during the most recent transfer window. Fichajes now claims that Hernandez is a target for Manchester United, who want to bolster this position. To find out the specifics of signing the Frenchman, they have already had discussions with the Rossoneri. Next summer, the 27-year-old will begin the last year of his current contract, and Milan is willing to let him go in order to keep him from leaving for nothing.
