Liverpool consider Joshua Kimmich as Trent Alexander-Arnold’s replacement
Joshua Kimmich, a 29-year-old utility player for Bayern Munich, has apparently been approached by Liverpool's agents regarding a Bosman move.
Liverpool is interested in Joshua Kimmich. With Trent Alexander-Arnold's long-term future unknown, the Reds are searching the market for a right-back. In light of a potential Bosman move this summer, they have reached out to the 29-year-old from Bayern Munich.
Joshua Kimmich joined Bayern Munich from VfB Stuttgart in July 2015 and has since established himself as one of the world's top players. After more than 400 appearances for the Bavarian powerhouses thus far, the 29-year-old has continued to improve during his time at Bayern Munich, contributing 43 goals and 113 assists. However, as Kimmich approaches the last six months of his contract with the Bundesliga powerhouses, his long-term future at the Allianz Stadium is in doubt. The Reds have contacted the German international's agents over a potential Bosman move, despite the player's age profile. He can be a fantastic addition to the first-team squad at Anfield.
