Jesper Karlsson is fresh in the minds of both FC Twente and Utrecht
Reports by Corriere dello Sport suggest that 26-year-old Jesper Karlsson is fresh in the minds of both FC Twente and Utrecht, after Bologna have allowed him to go out on loan.
According to Corriere dello Sport, FC Twente and Utrecht are both considering 26-year-old Jesper Karlsson after Bologna let him to go on loan. Belgian competition for the former AZ Alkmaar striker is something the two Eredivisie teams should anticipate. Karlsson's situation at Bologna hasn't exactly gone well since leaving AZ. The left winger cost the Italians almost eleven million euros, but the Swede has struggled to adjust to Serie A due to injury issues and competition for spots.
Given that the striker said last summer that he occasionally misses the Netherlands, the chances for Twente and Utrecht appear favourable. After his prior successful tenure at AZ, a comeback is now imminent. Nevertheless, Royal Antwerp FC and KRC Genk will provide opposition for the Tukkers and the Domstedelingen.
