Inter held to a 2-2 home draw by Bologna
Only four points separate Napoli, Inter and Atalanta at the top of the Serie A table.
After being held to a 2-2 home draw by Bologna on Wednesday, Inter Milan lost the opportunity to seize control of the Serie A title race. With a game remaining, a victory would have put defending champions Inter one point behind league leaders Napoli, and they appeared to be doing so when Federico Dimarco's flawless low cross on the stroke of halftime gave the home team the lead via Lautaro Martinez. However, Bologna, who also took a 15th-minute lead via Santiago Castro but were soon pulled back by Denzel Dumfries, earned a well-earned draw at the San Siro thanks to Emil Holm's outrageously deflected strike in the 64th minute, leaving Inter three points behind Napoli.
The match between Inter and Fiorentina, which was halted due to Edoardo Bove's on-field heart attack, has not yet been rescheduled.
