Real Valladolid and Las Palmas 1-1 in La Liga
Real Valladolid snapped a six-game losing streak by drawing at home with 10-man Las Palmas 1-1 in La Liga on Friday.
In La Liga on Friday, Real Valladolid ended a six-game losing skid by tying 10-man Las Palmas 1-1 at home. Sandro Ramírez's shot deflected past goalkeeper Karl Hein in the 22nd minute, giving Las Palmas the lead. The team had been ahead from the beginning.
However, seven minutes later, Scott McKenna, a Scotland defender for Las Palmas, was sent off with a straight red card for bodychecking Anuar Tuhami of Valladolid as he was running through on goal. Valladolid tried to equalise, but the side with the worst offence in La Liga didn't get the breakthrough until the 62nd minute. Juanmi Latasa, a substitute, headed a close-range knockdown into the net. Valladolid, owned by former Brazil striker Ronaldo, remained rooted to the bottom of La Liga, six points adrift of second-from-bottom Alaves.
