In the closing minutes of Serbia's UEFA Nations League match with Denmark on Monday, Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic was substituted off due to injury. This type of injury abruptly changes his status for Juventus' trip to the San Siro this weekend to play Milan. Given that Vlahovic is the only natural No. 9 to start at the top of Motta's 4-2-3-1 formation thus far this season, Juve's striker position is now extremely uncertain.

After fullback Juan Cabal tore his ACL while training with Colombia early last week, it is the second significant injury to occur to a Juventus player during the November international break.  Two days later, Juventus verified Cabal's injury, and over the next days, season-ending surgery is scheduled to take place. When queried briefly about the injury issue following the final whistle, Vlahovic, who was clutching his hamstring on the back of his right leg as he left the pitch.
