Wade announced retirement

In 92 T20Is, he scored 1,202 runs at an average of 26.03, with a strike rate of 134.15. He scored three half-centuries in the format, with the best score of 80

After 13 years and 225 international matches for Australia, the wicketkeeper-batter from Australia announced his retirement from international cricket on Tuesday. The 36-year-old quits after playing for his nation in three T20 World Cups. His most notable accomplishment was leading Australia to their first 20-over championship in Dubai in 2021 while serving as vice-captain.

Among his numerous career highlights, Wade's innings of 41* off only 17 deliveries in an exciting semi-final triumph against Pakistan made him a star at that event. The keeper-batter also played 36 Test matches for Australia, amassing 1,613 runs at an average of 29.87, including four Test hundreds and five fifties. In the fifth Ashes Test match against England at The Oval in 2019, he achieved a career-high score of 117.
