However, his participation in the decisive match is now in jeopardy due to a right thigh injury. Reports indicate that Rohit experienced discomfort and opted out of the net session, missing batting, bowling, and fielding drills. Given his vital role in the national team across formats, it would not be surprising if the Indian management chooses to rest him for the final ODI as a precautionary measure, prioritizing his fitness for future matches.
