Liton Das and Mehidy Hasan Miraz accomplished a historic first in Test cricket history. After the team had lost six wickets for fewer than fifty runs on the board, they became the only two players in history to create a partnership of over 150 runs for the seventh or lower wicket. On the third day of the second Test match between Bangladesh and Pakistan at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Liton and Miraz put up an incredible 165-run partnership for the seventh wicket. 

Liton and Miraz posted their half-centuries in the second session and looked in excellent form, but Miraz departed later on with 78 runs while Liton went on to reach his century and scored 138 runs. He was caught at long-on by Salman Agha when the Tigers were only 12 runs short of matching Pakistan's first-inning total of 274.
