James Anderson, England's legendary fast bowler and record wicket-taker, might return to professional cricket despite retiring from the England team on July 12. At 42, Anderson is reportedly a target for an unnamed club in Major League Cricket (MLC), a T20 competition in the USA that will enter its third tournament in 2025. If he joins, he could earn £135,000. While Anderson hasn't officially retired from T20 or other domestic cricket, his last T20 match was in 2014, which could be a challenge. 

Despite this, he remains involved in England's coaching setup as a fast-bowling mentor. Throughout his career, Anderson played 188 Tests, taking 704 wickets at an average of 26.45. Recently, he expressed uncertainty about his future, saying, "I've still not made a decision on my actual cricket career."
