India Beats Australia by 4 Wickets to Reach ICC Champions Trophy Final

Rohit Sharma’s side triumph by four wickets in Dubai as strong form continues

India defeated Australia by four wickets in Dubai to secure their spot in the ICC Champions Trophy final.

KL With 11 balls remaining, Rahul completed the innings with a six to advance India to their third international limited overs final in three years. They will play the victor of the match between South Africa and New Zealand on Wednesday. As India took wickets at regular intervals to restrict Australia to 264 all out in the first innings, captain Steve Smith and Alex Carey both reached 50 but were unable to turn their runs into triple digits. Australia picked up two wickets inside the powerplay to throw the contest in the balance but Virat Kohli proved to be the glue that held the innings together with his 84 runs and Rahul hit the winning runs to fend off a late fightback.
