Ihsanullah reverses retirement decision
Ihsanullah had announced his retirement from the Pakistan Super League (PSL) following his exclusion from the PSL 10 draft on January 14.
Less than twenty-four hours after declaring his intention to retire from franchise cricket, young Pakistani fast bowler Ihsanullah has changed his mind. The 22-year-old said he took the choice in an emotional state of mind. He had originally chosen to leave because he was frustrated after being left out of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 draft.
Ihsanullah made his debut for the Multan Sultans during PSL 8, putting on strong performances. He secured a spot in Pakistan's T20I team with his 22 wickets at an economy rate of 7.59. But a serious elbow injury sustained during his first ODI series against New Zealand kept him out of the national team for a long time. The injury and its subsequent mismanagement became a controversial issue, with criticisms directed at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for inadequate medical support.
