The Magic reached the midway point of an injury-riddled season at 23-18, fifth in the Eastern Conference

Cole Anthony led the Orlando Magic with 27 points, while Paolo Banchero stepped up late, scoring seven points in the final 1:32, to secure a 104-99 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday night. Banchero, playing his second game after recovering from a torn oblique, contributed 20 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.

Tyrese Maxey was the top scorer for Philadelphia with 29 points, while Paul George added 25 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists before fouling out with the 76ers up 94-91 and 2:49 left on the clock. Orlando’s Jonathan Isaac delivered a strong performance off the bench, recording 20 points and 11 rebounds for his first double-double since 2019. Anthony Black added 17 points, six rebounds, and six assists. The loss capped a challenging weekend for Philadelphia, who played without Joel Embiid (sprained left foot) for the fourth consecutive game.
