After missing six games due to a strained calf, Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 23 points in his comeback, and the Milwaukee Bucks overcame the Los Angeles Clippers 116-110 on Thursday night. The Bucks were behind 101-96 when Anteotkounmpo, who was on a minutes restriction, played just under 24 minutes before exiting for good with 6:27 left. Then, with Antetokounmpo on the bench, Milwaukee finished its comeback from a 13-point deficit in the fourth quarter.

With 3:02 left, Brook Lopez made a three-pointer to give the Bucks a decisive lead with 22 points. The Clippers, who were missing Norman Powell because of knee pain, received 25 points from Kawhi Leonard, 24 from James Harden, and 20 points and 15 rebounds from Ivica Zubac.  Milwaukee was missing Bobby Portis, who began serving a 25-game suspension after testing positive for the painkiller Tramadol, a violation of the league’s anti-drug program.
