During a promotional event at Silverstone, Williams unveiled their new 2025 Formula One vehicle to the world. Only a few weeks before the team's new lineup of Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon will make its racing debut at the Australian Grand Prix, the Grove-based team's FW47 broke cover in front of supporters, partners, and the media on Friday morning. The racing livery will be unveiled at the F1 75 Live season kickoff event at The O2 on February 18, so fans will have to wait a little while longer to see it. The team hopes to improve after finishing the 2024 season in ninth position, and Williams is getting ready to go back to the top.

After the announcement, Sainz ran around Silverstone in the FW47 for the first time. After leaving Ferrari, the Spaniard signed a multi-year contract with the club and is getting ready to start a new chapter in his career.
