Arsenal beat 2-1 Tottenham

Arsenal moved within four points of Premier League leaders Liverpool with a 2-1 derby win against visitors Tottenham.

Arsenal moved within four points of Premier League leaders Liverpool after defeating Tottenham 2-1 in the north London derby, with Leandro Trossard scoring the game-winning goal.

Son Heung-min had opened the scoring for Spurs in the 25th minute, but Gabriel Magalhaes had cancelled it out with an own goal from Dominic Solanke. Trossard then scored the goal in the 44th minute to give the Gunners a 2-1 lead. After winning the rematch 1-0 in September, Mikel Arteta's team completed the double against Spurs as a result of the outcome. Dejan Kulusevski put David Raya to the test in the 22nd minute after Arsenal had dominated the first half. Three minutes later, Son side-footed a volley past the Gunners custodian after it deflected off Thomas Partey.  Radu Dragusin's defensive header off teammate Solanke in the 40th minute levelled the score, demonstrating the effectiveness of Arsenal's set-piece pressure.
